Good Morning Sweet Owls~

I hope you all had a great spring break. We are getting back into the swing of things.

We had a fun week in the owl room before the break. We played with the boat in the water table again. We painted a bus yellow and sang the wheels on the bus. We used a spray bottle to spray the easel like rain and used a squeegee to clean it. Just like the wipers on the bus. As we sang the wheels on the bus we choose which verse to sing using cards. This is great for language and turn taking.

We played with Ms. Betty in motor movement. We had fun jumping in and out of the hoops and playing with the balls.

In chapel we read the story of Moses leading the people with the fire and clouds. We also walked through the river that parted to keep the people safe.

What a fun week we had a ELP.

This week we will be talking about zoo animals.

Good Morning Owls~

We had a great time the last two weeks in the Owl room. Last week was Rodeo week. We rode horses in our room and played with horses in the ball pit. It was fun to make them ride around the ball pit. We played in the water with horses and cowboys. We also had turkey basters that were fun to squirt. We painted with a potato masher like a cowboy branding a horse. Outside we filled boot cups with corn kernels. YEE HA!!

In Chapel we feed the pig like the Prodigal Son.

This week in the Owl room we talked about things that go and enjoyed our road rally. We had so much fun going around the parking lot. In our classroom we played with the boats in our water table, this was a favorite. I will have it again next week. We made a blue car collage with fun stickers. As we peel the the stickers and manipulate the stickers it is great fine motor activity. We also talk about the colors, size and item. Great language. We also painted with cars. We roll the cars and the wheels paint. FUN!! Outside we painted cars and there was a lot of water to play with.

Next week is a normal week. We will be talking about things that go again.
